Krupskaya (pw/grindcore/chaotic/crust)

Krupskaya formed in January 2006 from the remains of two Stoke-on-Trent bands: FuckHatePropaganda and KZCH. That month we recorded and released our st demo, which was followed by a breif tour of Germany in March with Antigama(POL), Keitzer(GER) and Nashgul (SP). Upon our return we continued to gig up and down the country while recording our debut album Clouds Over Pripyat. The album was released in 2006 in collaboration with Ignore This Records (UK), Circus of the macabre (uk), Sassbologna Records (USA) and Fuck Copyright records (UK). The album has continued to trade well across the globe, recieving many positive reviews both for the music and Artwork. One such review can be read at Global Domination (9.5/10). Towards the end of 2006 we began writing material for our next releases which included a split with Iowa Grindcore band Trendy bastard. The beginning of 2007 saw us continuing how 2006 finished, with gigs up and down the country with bands such as Mumakil (SWZ), narcosis(uk), j'menfous (SWZ), and Step on it (hun). The second half of the year saw the release of our 7inch vinyl Symbiosis through Decay, and an appearance on the Sassbologna records compilation Fast Tape. In october we completed a 2 week European tour covering Switzerland, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, Czech and Hungary with such excellent bands as Splitter(SWE), Putrescense(CAN), Lycanthopy(CZ), Saywhy?(CZ), Blood I bleed(NL), and Needful Things(CZ) among others. during the tour we parted ways with our bass player Jonjo, with Stacey joining soon after. The end of 2007 was dedicated to teaching Stacey the material, and recording drum tracks for 3 upcoming splits with Wojczech(GER), Bombarde and Black Sister. The beginning of 2008 saw the much anticipated release of our Split with Trendy Bastard, and indonesian compilation One way ticket to Hell which features three Krupskaya songs. We are currently finalising these splits while preparing for our upcoming split album with Kill a Celebrity (AUS), UK tour with Wojczech and generally refining things for a much faster, much heavier, more oppressive and relentless year.
